Consistency check is one of the process to check whether a repository is yielding proper results in Answer reports. It checks whether;
All logical columns are mapped correctly to physical columns.
All logical dimension tables have a logical key.
There are at least two logical tables in the business model; one is a logical fact table, the other is logical dimension table with join condition.
There are no circular logical join relationships.
A presentation catalog exists for the business model.

Consistency Check
You can check consistency for the entire repository or for a single objects.

Global Consistency Check (Entire Repository)
Navigate to File menu -> Check Global Consistency. This will open the Consistency Check Manager which checks for the entire repository.

The Consistency Check Manager identifies message type, the object type, and the object, and provides a detailed description of the message

Check for Single Model
Select any object and Navigate to tools -> Show Consistency Checker or Right click on any objects (Physical or BMM or Presentation model) and click on Check Consistency

This will check individual objects and not the entire repository.

Disable or Enable Consistency Check
Navigate to File menu -> Check Global Consistency > Option Tab.
Select any object in the list type of check and click on enable or disable.
